Recipe to prepare Masala Dosa

Ingredients:

1/2 glass of urad dal
3 glass of raw rice
2tbs toordal
1/4 tsp methi seed
4 tbsp beaten rice
salt to taste

Method:

1. Soak the first 4 ingredients for atleast 5 to 6 hours and grind along with beaten rice ( pova) and keep it for fermentation for 8 hours.
2. Add salt & fry thin crispy dosas the usual way.

POTATO BAAJI:

Ingredients:

oil
mustard seeds
kadipatta
bengal gram
3 chopped onions
turmeric powder
4 potatoes boiled & cubed
salt to taste

Method:

1. In a kadai pour oil, mustard, kadipatha, bengal gram dal, kadipatta, chopped onions and fry well.
2. Add turmeric powder and salt then add boiled potato pieces.

COCONUT CHUTNEY:

Ingredients:

grated coconut
greeen chillies
ginger
salt
mustard
oil
kadi patta

Method:

Grind into paste the first four ingredients. Season with oil,mustard, kadipatta
