Rava Dhodak is a thick dosa. It contains all the tastes, combined in one, to make it a tasty, filling, healthy, all time welcome dosa.

Ingredients:

· Rava- 1 cup (I use Bansi Ravi,i.e. Medium Rava)
· Green Chillies – 2nos small
· Sugar- 1 teaspoon(not heaped)
· Curd- 2 Tablespoons
· Hing(Asafoetida)- a few drops
· Curry leaves-1 sprig(leaves cut into small pieces){optional}
· Salt to taste.

Method:

1. Add some water,mix all the ingredients together.
2. Add enough water to mix the dough and soften it. Keep it aside till the rava softens.
3. Heat tava, add a few drops of oil. Take the rava mixture in your cupped hand as much it can hold and keep it on the warm tava.
4. Flatten it with your fingers, into a thick round dosa. Add some more drops of oil on to the dosa and dosa edge.
5. Let the dosa get done on a slow fire .Do not turn over till the side is well done (it may break).Turn, let the other side get done, as well.
6. We can have this tasty dhodak with a spoon of butter.It makes a wonderful treat for breakfast .
