BAKED KANE (LADY FISH) IN GREEN MASALA РRecipe by Sujothi Shetty, OMAN

Ingredients:

6 Kane fish of medium size
1 tsp mustard seeds (roasted)
1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped
4 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
4 flakes garlic
1 onion
1 tbsp lime juice
salt

Method :

1. Grind mustard seeds, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillis, ginger, garlic to a fine paste.
2. Heat oil & fry the onion for 2 mins. Then add to the ground masala. Also add salt & lime juice, mix well till well combined.
3. Lay the fish in a baking dish & pour the mixture over the fish. Smear the masala all over the fish.
4. Bake in a pre heated oven for 10 mins.
