Recipe for GSB Konkani community Dish Chano ani Batate Sukke (Black Chana n Potato dry subzi )
Pressure cook 200 gm chana and 2 medium sized potatoes cut into small pieces ( soak chana overnight).
grind coarsely, 1cup coconut, 6-7 red chillies or as per ur taste, marble sized tamarind.
Add 1tsp uraddal and 1 &1/2 tsp coriander seeds roasted in little oil, at the end and then grind again.
heat 1tsp oil in a kadai , add mustard seeds, 1 red chilli n curry leaves, fry for a min.
add ground masala and salt.
u can add lil jaggery if u want and cook for a min.
now add boiled chana and potato.
cook until the gravy becm thick and your dish is ready to be served.
