easy and quick recipe to prepare masuri amti
Wash and soak masoor for an hour. Then pressure cook it till 2 whistles. Then add roughly chopped big pieces of onions and tomatoes,finely chopped garlic and ginger,slit green chillies to it and pressure cook till 1 whistle or till properly cooked. Add salt to taste,dhania jeera powder and turmeric powder. Adjust the consistency and bring to boil.Then temper it with jeera and broken curry leaves in hot oil. Garnish it with finely chopped dhania. Serve hot with rice or phulkas.
