Recipe to prepare Mosaranna (curd rice ) loaded with fruits

we all love to eat something nice to keep our body cool during hot summer and what better then curd rice.

here is a recipe to prepare authentic bangalore style Mosaranna (curd rice ) loaded with fruits

Method :  make a tempering of oil, mustard seeds, 1 tbsp chana dal, 1/4 tsp jeera, 4 green chilies, curry leaves, 1 byadagi chilli, one small chopped onion (optional) heeng n keep aside. Take a large bowl. Add the 3 to 4 cups softly cooked n cooled rice. You may also use left over rice. Gently mash it a little with a spatula or your hands. Add enough curds i.e.. more than 4 cups(I used home made) n salt. Mix well. Now add the tempering. Some pomegranate seeds n halved grapes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
