TIGER PRAWNS FRY recipe by Navanitha B Shetty
250 gm large Tiger prawns, (deveined with tail)
salt to taste
2 – 3 tbsp Mangalore Chilli Masala Powder
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 big onions, finely chopped
8 flakes of garlic, finely chopped
1″ ginger, grated in a cheese grater
tamrind juice to taste
1. Cook prawns with salt & 1 tbsp chilli masala powder, tamrind juice & with its natural juices.
2. Take another pan & fry the onions till light brown. Add ginger & garlic & fry for another few minutes. Add cooked prawns & chilli powder only if needed.
#Over cooking destroys texture & flavour of prawns.
