EGG MUFFIN recipe by Navanitha B Shetty
Egg Muffin is the signature breakfast sandwich a griddle-fried egg, dressed with a slice of cheese on a toasted and buttered English muffin. The round shape of the egg is made by cooking the egg in a ring.
pinch of salt
black pepper or chilli powder to taste
1 slice of cheese
cooking oil / ghee
mayonnaise ( optional )
1 chicken salami ( optional)
1. Heat your skillet / pan then position the egg ring in the pan. Add a spoon of cooking oil / ghee in the center of the ring. Break your egg carefully into the ring. Add salt & pepper / chilli powder.
2. Carefully remove the ring. Flip the sunny side onto the pan & cook the other side. Remove.
3. Split the buns and toast the cut surfaces lightly in a pan just before the egg is a done. Spread mayonnaise on the cut surfaces.
4. Now assemble. Place the lower half of the muffin on a plate. Place the fried egg, dress it with a slice of cheese so that the cheese starts melting due to the heat of the egg. Add a slice of chicken salami. Cover it with the top half of the bun.
