Moong Dal (yellow dal) is a healthy Indian comfort food prepared from yellow split lentil (green split gram without skin)
- Mustard seeds
- Green chilli
- Curry leaves
- Grated coconut
Wash Moong dal very well & Soak into water for fewminutes .Then drain it..In a pan add coconut oil, mustard seeds,curry leaves green chillies ,& ginger seasoning. Add water and allow to boil. Add washed & drained moogadali ,little asafoetida powder and salt and allow to cook. I keep checking and add water as necessary.Garnish with grated coconut.
