Quick recipe to prepare Beet root Halwa
Beet root – 2 -grated -1 -1/2 cup
milk -1 cup
sugar -3/4 cup
ghee -1 tbp
cardamom powder -3 pinches
pistas/almonds/cashews –for garnishing
Take a kadai add 1 tbp of ghee and fry the grated beet root.
Fry for while and add milk.
Let it cook in the milk till the moisture evaporates.
Add sugar,elachi powder and the mixture becomes little watery.
Cook till the texture becomes gooey ,halwa consistency.
Garnish with a teaspoon of ghee and nuts.
