GSB Konkani community special Wheat flour halwa recipe by Roopa Bhandary
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup ghee
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
Almonds,cashew nuts – for garnishing
Heat ghee in a non stick kadai, add the flour & saute on a medium flame for 20 min or till turns brown and ghee separates.
add sugar , cardamom powder & 3/4 cup water, Mix well & cook on low flame for another 5 to 7 minutes or till the sugar dissolves..
Then transfer to greased plate, level it with spatula.
Once cool cut into desired shape or can serve in cups.
